Wow, being a Mesa area based family photographer is so amazing! I love this time of year when I get to meet so many families! I also love the week I get to spend up north in my home state of Utah capturing clients and their cute families. This year I hit the jackpot and went to Utah just as the leaves were all changing and before it got too cold (and then snowed!) I am sooo excited to share this cute family’s session in Herriman, Utah.

This cute family was referred to me by one of my amazing clients. I am so glad that the timing of my trip worked out so well with their schedule! I have to admit, when I arrived I was so surprised to see two little ones so close in age! Immediately my heart filled with pride for their amazing parents. I know it can be really hard to get dressed up and get photos done when your littles are still so small and busy.

One thing I often suggest to families with young ones is to bring a grandparent to your session! It is such a help! Not only will we have an extra pair of hands but Grandma/Grandpa usually can get those extra big smiles and be extra motivation to listen! These parents were wise and brought along Grandma. We were all so glad to have her there! Grandparents are always welcome at my sessions ❤️
