As a Phoenix photographer, I have a lot of favorite locations but these senior pictures at South Mountain will help you understand why it’s one of my favorites! I had such a great time working with Mitchell and loved how he brought his car for our photoshoot. Being able to take senior pictures the past 2 years has been extra awesome. Since graduating seniors had so much taken away from them with the pandemic, senior pictures are kind of one of the only things left of a “normal” senior year!
Senior Pictures at South Mountain
Scorpion Gulch at South Mountain is one of the most unique places in the Phoenix area, in my opinion. I love how it isn’t too far off the map and pretty centralized at South Mountain! I also love how it offers two different yet beautiful backdrops with the soft, colorful walls of the building as well as the desert and mountains.
Working with Mitchell (and his fun mom) was absolutely a blast. Previous to starting this business I was a high school teacher and miss interacting with my students so much. Being able to work with my high school seniors definitely fills that void! I loved how Mitchell wore necklaces that were important to him (peep that cute “E” necklace his girlfriend gave him). I was also so excited when his mom asked if he could bring his car and get some shots with it.
If you’re planning your senior pictures, make sure to head over to my previous post that talks all about how to get ready. It is amazing how more personal and memorable Mitchell’s photos are because he chose to bring things that represented his high school life and experiences.
If you’re a graduating senior, I would LOVE to work with you! Senior season is approaching quickly so make sure to reach out before I’m booked full. We will have a great time! Click here to learn more about sessions with me and how to book!
Enjoy some of these senior pictures at Scorpion Gulch!
