I absolutely loved this cute family session I had with the Singleton family at Big Springs Park up Provo Canyon. The fall weather and colors were simply amazing as you can see! I love being able to photograph so many amazing places and I fall back in love with my home state of Utah during each session I have there.

If you haven’t ever been up Provo Canyon, you NEED to go! We drove up several canyons while in Utah and I have to say that the colors were among the most impressive in Provo Canyon. I have found the best time to capture fall colors is typically the end of September through the first couple weeks of October.

I am glad I got to see Makayla again, it had been so long since I had seen her. We served in the same mission for our church (Cebu, Philippines) and actually were housemates for 6 weeks. It was fun to see her in a different role as wife and mother and I think it’s apparent in these photos how wonderful she is at what she does!

One thing this family did which I think is sooo smart was bring their grandma and uncle along for the session. Those two were really able to ham it up alongside me and I feel like we got lots of great images for Makayla and her family to cherish in the years to come.

Here are some of my favorite images from our session. If you’re ever interested to book a session in Provo Canyon, let me know! I have availability in Utah quite often and would love to schedule a time to capture you!
