Getting family pictures at the Queen Creek wash is one of my top photography locations in Arizona for families of little ones. Just by looking at these images, I am sure you can tell why! Not only is the scenery just beautiful but I love how easily accessible it is as well!
Meet the Carter Family
I have been excited to share some of these images of the Carter family. Jay and her family were nominated by one of my previous clients to receive a giveback session and they were an absolute blast to work with! The Carters are such a sweet family and have the biggest hearts out there.
One of the reasons I was so excited to work with them was because of their amazing son, TJ. TJ was born with a rare syndrome. As a former special education teacher, I am passionate about sharing how amazing people with disabilities are and was grateful to also have the opportunity to highlight TJ’s sweet family and their relationship with him.
Mowat Wilson Syndrome
After we finished their family pictures at the Queen Creek wash, I asked Jay, his beautiful momma, to share more about him and this is what she had to say:
“TJ was born with a rare syndrome called Mowat Wilson Syndrome. This syndrome holds a lot of characteristics and all of our sweet babes with MWS have different ones. TJ is 9 yeras old and is a super loving and funny kid. He started walking last year and is overcoming hurdle after hurdle. TJ has taught us patience like no other, a special kind of love, and to take nothing for granted. He is the sweetest little boy I know and has a smile that will light up the room.”
While looking through these images, I think you will witness that all these things his mom said above are so true. I am so grateful for the time I got to spend getting to know TJ and his family and feel so blessed to be able to capture their amazing family.
Without further ado, here are some of my favorite images from their session! Thank you Carter family for letting me document your beautiful selves!
Queen Creek Family Pictures
Shooting at the Queen Creek wash is seriously one of my favorites for the reasons I listed above. It has some beautiful scenery and it is easily accessible! I also must add that it feels a little different than the typical Phoenix area backdrop!
