I don’t know if you and your families are like mine but choosing a color palette and then actually finding something for everyone to wear within that palette can be super HARD. Just the other day, after an hour long conversation with some of the women in my family, my husband asked me how it was even possible to talk that long about a color palette, haha! In case you’re in the same place I was, here are some ideas for outfits for your summer family photos!
For both palettes I did most of my shopping at Old Navy, which is one of my favorite stores. I love how size inclusive they are as well as how affordable they are!
Palette One: I really like this color palette for outdoor photos. I can just imagine a beautiful family surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape! I think it would also look amazing with a desert backdrop! You can shop the links at the bottom of the post.
For my next palette, I decided to go with more light neutrals. You can NEVER go wrong with neutrals! While I love myself some color I do believe you can have a more timeless look to your photos if colors are a bit more muted. Neutrals also make your skin tone look amazing while bright colors can wash away any color you have or reflect strangely in photos. So…when in doubt, go with the neutrals! You won’t regret it.
