I am so glad we got to escape to Utah this fall! Even though we spent a majority of the summer in the cooler Utah temperatures, a visit to fall weather (and colors!) was absolutely needed. While in Utah I was able to photograph some families and couples. All of my clients are seriously amazing! I totally understand why so many people want their pictures taken in the fall…the cooler temps, the cozier clothing options, and those amazing colors. I loved every session I had.
We were able to do some fall activities like going to the pumpkin patch while in Utah. We absolutely love Peterson’s Farm in Riverton. Although Covid has shut down some of their activities, Ava was happy enough with looking at the animals and picking out a pumpkin! (Actually, she was pretty ornery most of the time, but she came around). My mom also hosted *the* cutest Halloween party! It was packed full of treats, games, a spooky dinner, and trick or treating to the different decorated doors in her house. We dressed up as Moana, Te Fiti, and “Maui”. Ryan wasn’t keen on the idea of being half naked with a grass skirt, so an oversized Hawaiian t-shirt and Maui’s hook was the best he would do 😂 Ava is absolutely OBSESSED with all things Moana, so even though I had other costume ideas in mind I ultimately went with Moana because who could I NOT?!
On the last day of our trip, I met my brother and his family at Rose Canyon in Herriman for some quick family fall pictures. My sister in law Liz has a talent for photography and so I handed off my camera to her and asked her to get some little captures of our family. Thanks, Liz. I love them! Sometimes it’s nice to not just be stuck behind the lens.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my little picture dump. I can’t remember a trip that I was more grateful for taking. We really enjoyed our time in Utah this fall!
Happy Fall!
xoxo
