Being a photographer in Mesa and surrounding areas is simply the best, especially when I get to capture brand new newborn babies. I am so excited to share some of my favorite images today from a session I had with Jessica + Rob and their newest addition. Baby K is seriously so cute and I am beyond happy for their cute family.

Newborn Lifestyle Session at Beloved Studios

I was pumped when Jessica told me she wanted to do their session at Beloved Studios in Mesa. This natural light studio is one of favorites in the valley. I love how they offer a few rooms with different styles. Jessica and I both decided on the “Plant Room.” As you can see from the images, this room is absolutely ADORABLE. I love how bohemian yet classy it is.

I get asked a lot by expecting parents if I suggest doing in home or stuidoo sessions for newborns. I typically leave it up to the parents to decide. I think there can be something so sweet about doing the photos in your own home but recognize that sometimes our homes aren’t photo ready, don’t have great natural light, and also it can be a lot to think about cleaning! Studios are a great solution to all of those issues. Not to mention, it can be fun to have your own little outing as a family to the studio!

As you can tell from these images, my newborn sessions are much more “lifestyle” rather than super posed. I love capturing families and their new additions in a natural, comfortable way.
