I am sure I am not the only one who absolutely LOVES decorating for Christmas. There’s very little that makes me happier than looking over and seeing a beautiful Christmas tree in the corner of our front room. This year has been especially fun with Ava. Since she is almost 2 she has been understanding much more this year and cracks me up. Every morning when I wake up, she looks at me and says “Kismasss” and then runs out to check on our Christmas tree. I LOVE it.

After we had our front room all decorated I asked my husband Ryan to grab a few shots of me + Ava. I am definitely trying harder to be in more photos…I don’t want to be that mom who opted to just stay behind the camera. I am so lucky to have an “instagram husband” who will indulge me with photos every once in a while. I hope that you enjoy some little captures I got.

I hope that whatever your plans are this holiday season that you will be able to feel peace and love. This year is going to be so different for many of due to Covid-19 but in the Hughes home we are definitely trying our best to be positive and make the best out of the situation!
