Today I am so happy to be sharing some photos from the cutest Gilbert LDS Temple wedding. I absolutely LOVED working with Kylie and Calvin! They were such a fun and easy going couple! (I shared their engagement session as well as their first look session on my blog not too long ago) Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful and they had such a fun crowd!
As with any wedding, this day was made beautiful by some amazing vendors. Scroll down to see all of the wonderful vendors who worked so hard at creating the perfect wedding for Kylie and Calvin.
Gilbert LDS Temple Wedding
Wedding days at the Gilbert LDS Temple are always some of my favorite. That building is absolutely amazing! I love how peaceful and serene it is on the grounds. Honestly, it makes for such an amazing backdrop and location for wedding day photos. I am always so happy to see my bride and groom as they exit. Kylie and Calvin’s family made it extra fun by blowing bubbles as they exited!
After exit photos, I grab the whole group at the temple for one big photo. As you can tell, they had so many people there to support them! 80 plus people came. Wow! After the big group photos, we moved to grandparents, parents, siblings, then finally the bridal party.
Once we were able to get all of those family and bridal party shots I was able to walk around and get some more photos of just Kylie and Calvin on the temple grounds. This is secretly my favorite part of the day: when I get the couple to myself! The Gilbert temple did not disappoint and neither did Kylie and Calvin. They are such a beautiful couple, easy to pose, and suuuper natural with each other. It’s like they’re in love or something 😉
Reception at The Knotty Barn
This wedding was my first time shooting at the Knotty Barn and I absolutely loved it. Kylie requested we do group photos in front of the barn door which I loved. This venue was so gorgeous. I loved all of the rustic details mixed with the hanging lights. Everything just came together so perfectly!
Kylie and Calvin had an ice cream bar with cookies and it sure looked yummy! They had so many friends and family come to support them and I wasn’t one bit surprised. They are the kindest people! Once they had greeted their guests, we moved to the typical wedding traditions: cutting the cake, tossing the bouquet, and dancing. As you’ll see here, they had such a fun time! I love catching all the movement during the dance portion!
As they left, Kylie and Calvin took a minute to reflect on their amazing wedding day. I was able to get a quick capture as they hugged and talked. They had an awesome sparkler exit on their way out!
