Today I am excited to share some images from a Gilbert LDS temple wedding! These are all the way from back in February of this year. Maren and Stewart tied the knot over Valentine’s weekend. It was such a beautiful day! I have known Maren for a few years now and when she asked if I’d capture her wedding day, I was so excited! It was fun to reconnect with her and to get to know Stewart and his girls as well ❤️

Gilbert LDS Temple Wedding

I absolutely love capturing Gilbert LDS Temple weddings. For one, the temple’s architecture is simply breathtaking! Second, it is always so fun to wait outside the temple for the bride and groom. I always have a great time capturing them and their families as they cheer for them as they exit!

Since Covid-19 precautions were still in place, taking photos kind of turned into a sprint 😅 We were only allowed 20 minutes on temple grounds to capture the whole family as well as get some nice portraits of Maren and Stewart. We were able to move quickly and get some great shots!

The weather was a little chilly the day of their wedding. Thankfully Grandma and Grandpa came prepared with a little blanket for their little girls to use while we walked to the other side of the temple.

As I mentioned previously, we had a short time to get shots of Maren and Stewart. I came ready with various poses and prompts to capture and I’m so glad I did! I always love capturing my brides and grooms in their most relaxed state. Giving prompts like “spin her!” or “hold hands and tell each other your pet peeves” as you walk always helps!
