As an Arizona wedding photographer I see it as one of my responsibilities to help my brides best prepare for their big day! Not only will your wedding day be one of the best days of your life but it can also be one of the busiest and potentially most stressful days, too. That’s why I work closely with my brides to help them know what to expect for their wedding day. I’m so excited to write a blog post today about all of those things you shouldn’t forget to pack for your wedding day!
What to Pack for Your Wedding Day
Chances are that you are going to be very busy the days leading up to your wedding. Let’s face it, planning a wedding is not easy work! I always encourage my brides to pack a small bag that will be accessible during their wedding day. (Keep in mind you can always keep the bag with one of your bridesmaids!) Here are the list of items I would keep in the bag:
- Snacks (Not messy ones, though! It will be a long day. No need to get hangry!)
- Bottled water ( This is sooo important for you Arizona brides! Don’t let the heat get the best of you!)
- Perfume
- Deodorant (Travel size will do)
- Tooth brush/Tooth paste
- Makeup for retouching throughout the day (Lipstick, foundation etc)
- Extra bobby pins/clips to re-secure your hair
- Hairspray
- Phone charger
- Tissues
- Make-up remover cloths (In case you get emotional!)
Additional Items to Remember on Your Wedding Day
Besides the items I listed above, I’ve found that the following are also super helpful to bring along:
- Printed out itinerary of wedding day events for your vendors and bridal party
- Any details you would like photographed that aren’t typically at your ceremony or reception including: wedding invitations/stationery, a stamped and addressed envelope, or any sentimental items you’d like to be captured
