This was such a beautiful session at Tunnel Springs Park and I am so excited to share some of my favorite shots! I was able to travel to Utah back in November for a wedding (which I can’t wait to share!) and while there I was able to do a few family shoots. I was super excited when Aubrey reached out to ask me if I could do their family photos. Andrew, her husband, is my cousin and one thing I love about my photography business has been able to reconnect with a lot of my cousins! We all have gone different directions, married, and had kids (most of us, at least) and so it has been fun to catch up and reconnect.
We had actually scheduled this session for a Saturday but we had been watching the forecast and saw that a snow storm was supposed to hit that day so we ended up pushing it up a day (I drove straight from photographing a wedding all day, but so worth it!) The wind had started to get pretty strong and certain points, but I love how flexible this cute family was. They were so fun and easy to work with! Plus, these little girls are just sooo adorable! Aubrey actually owns the cutest women’s boutique called Shop Aubrey Jane and she has fantastic taste, so I was not the least bit surprised when they showed up all looking so fantastic.
Not only were their outfits on point, I must say that Tunnel Springs Park is hands down one of my top 5 favorite places to shoot at in Utah. In the spring and summer the grass is green (turns yellow towards the end of summer) and by fall, the grass is simply amazing. That is one thing I wish we had in Arizona- amazing grass fields! I would highly recommend Tunnel Springs Park to anyone who is looking for a beautiful location not too far off the beaten path (it’s just in North SLC) and wide, open spaces. The backdrop is simply phenomenal.
