One of my favorite parts of owning my own photography business has being able to get out more often to look for beautiful spots! Where I live, Tempe, is more urban than say “rural” and sometimes it feels like I’m limited to beautiful nature locations nearby. I was so happy when my husband and I checked out Papago Park in Tempe and found some amazing spots. Not only was it beautiful, it was also super easy to walk to which is a major WIN for family photo sessions.

The Thompson family was so fun to spend time with and those kids were perfect! Maybe the bribe of popsicles afterwards was effective….ha! Anyway, I had such a blast capturing their beautiful family and I think it’s safe to say their kids had a great time climbing on the buttes, too!
